Regent of Teluk Wondama, West Papua, Albert Torey, was rounded up by police as he was using meth at his home in Manokwari last night. His second wife was also on the scene. Police also confiscated two small meth packages at a total of 0.89 grams of weight.
Police spokesperson, Chief. Comm. Wachyono told VIVAnews that, "The Regent of Wondama was picked up at his house in Manokwari as he and his wife were using meth."
According to the police chief, Torey has been under surveillance for some time. "He had often escaped our ambush."
"The police will have to report to the President within no later than 48 hours," he said.

News like this is just making me sad. Why can't just those who are in power perform good and better and just make this world a better place?
Were the couple been sentenced or penalized? Being an official should make you feel responsible of your duties to the nation and the citizens.

Couples on meth and the guy is an Indonesian official. Good to see some justice here. Everyone should be arrested because of their wrongdoings.
It is a very serious offense especially when you are an official of the government. There are no other way but to look for a good lawyer that can defend them in court. It is a very tough case for them.

That was a sad part for the couple but, meth as it was abused was not reasonable and should have legal enforcement because of its illegal use. On the other hand, its good to see legal actions regarding that issues so that people would be aware and avoid using it. Thanks.
He and his wife violated the law, so its just a right thing to make them suffer the consequences of their illegal actions. Everyone who violates the law deserves to be punished even the government officials, to make them realize that what they did is not right.

We are supposed to have raises like any other job, but I have also heard that they do not give raises like they are supposed to.Any of you guys know if we get raises or not?
